MASKS AND THE AUTHENTIC SELF
IN PREPARATION
If you are about to join me online for “Masks And The Authentic Self” process, to prepare you can collect things form around the house that you might like to incorporate in this creative process. To give you an example of what other groups have used
- Magazines
- Bubble Wrap
- Old Photos
- Any extra craft supplies
- Lids
- Bread Tags
MAKING GLUE
A great glue mix is simply equal parts PVA Glue and Water.
This solution is ideal to build on your mask with paper, in a paper mache fashion or when applying images like a collage. You will need a stronger adhesive if you are applying anything heavier, eg card board or embellishments like pom poms and sequins.
I suggest
- Straight PVA Glue
- Hot Glue Gun, with caution!
Before you log on to our session, make sure you are comfortable, in a creative space with all your mask materials ready to go.
If you have journal or a piece of paper handy, I invite you to bring them as well.
